Zachlorou - Achaia
 An excursion to Zachlorou will revive you. There is a beautiful traditional town built at an altitude of 640 metres, in Vouraikos Canyon, at the foot of the rock at Grand Cave . It is embraced by the largest forest of the Municipality of Achaia by fir trees, pine trees, and chestnut trees- the peace, quiet and the beauty of nature impress visitors.
Styga Water is at an altitude of 2,100 metres on mount Chelmos, crossing a path which was especially made to reach Styga, visitors may reach the land of legends. Gods, mortals and dark kingdoms co-exist with the legend of the terrible Styga. An impressive waterfall of 200 metres approximately, reaches the bed of Krathi river. This forms the « immortal water » of the legend springing from Hades, where people and Gods gave their oath. Thetis washed her son Achilea to make him immortal in Styga Water.
In the east side of Chelmos, there is the opportunity to admire the alpine landscape at the sudden sight of a small beautiful lake. Tsivlos lake is at an altitude of 800 metres and is one of the very few lakes of mountainous Peloponissos. The cause of making of the this lake was an ... accident. A land slide that took place in 1912 blocked river Krathi and Tsivlos lake was created.
